April is the dry season in Laos, making it prime construction season. Thanks to the tireless efforts of all builders, Qiancheng Group's Laos Center project has made significant progress! As a new landmark in the heart of the capital, the Laos Center is gradually moving from blueprint to reality.
【Overall Project Progress】
At present, the overall construction of the project is progressing steadily, and the construction of each building is proceeding in an orderly manner. As of April 28, the annex building is mainly carrying out the main engineering and secondary structure construction, and the main building is carrying out earthwork and foundation construction. In the near future, the annex building will be fully topped out. According to the annual project plan, it is expected that the annex building project will be fully topped out on May 20, 2025. However, thanks to Qiancheng Group's "scientific management and efficient coordination" and the unremitting efforts of all builders, the topping-out time of the annex building was advanced by 9 days. On May 11, 2025, Qiancheng Group will celebrate the successful topping-out of the annex building, and a grand topping-out ceremony will be held on site.
【Building construction details】
The foundation work for the annex building has been completed, with concrete poured for the 11th floor. Formwork for the 12th floor is currently underway. Simultaneously, pre-buried pipes for supporting facilities such as fire protection and lighting are also underway. Construction of the secondary structure and plastering of the structural columns has progressed to the 5th floor, and the annex is expected to be fully topped out on May 11th. In late May, curtain wall, power supply, intelligent systems, elevators, floodlighting, fine decoration, exterior wall coatings, and swimming pool units were all brought in, ensuring a strong foundation for the October opening.
The main building's pile foundation has been successfully completed, and the earthwork progress has reached 80%. The Larsen steel plate support piles in the foundation pit have all been installed, and the construction of the foundation pit soil nail walls and anchor cables has also been completed. Currently, the engineering team is actively advancing the excavation of the base earthwork, while also working on the removal of the pile heads and the pouring of the cushion layer.
