Located in Phapho Village, Sisattanak District, the Lao Center Project is set to redefine urban living and business in the capital. Once completed, the development will feature the tallest structure in the country—a striking 46-storey tower—firmly positioning Vientiane on the map of modern Southeast Asian cities.
The newly opened 12-storey building represents Phase 1 of the project and is now fully completed and operational. It offers a dynamic mix of commercial and lifestyle spaces, including restaurants, cafés, office facilities and executive condominiums. Early interest has been strong, with a growing number of investors and tenants securing reservations ahead of the full project launch.

Visitors are particularly drawn to the building’s standout features. Floors 6 and 7 host a collection of distinctive dining venues and leisure spaces, while the 8th floor boasts a visually striking suspended glass swimming pool—poised to become one of Vientiane’s most talked-about attractions. The upper floors house the headquarters of Xiansheng Group, along with premium executive residences offering panoramic views of the city.
According to Mr Gong Wenzhong, Deputy Managing Director of Qiangcheng Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd., the Lao Center Project is a joint venture between the Ministry of Public Security of Laos, Qiangcheng Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd., and Lao Mahasap Development Sole Co., Ltd. Since construction began in October 2024, progress has advanced steadily, with the development divided into two key phases: the completed 12-storey building and the forthcoming 46-storey main tower.
The main tower, scheduled for completion in May 2028, promises a comprehensive lifestyle destination. Plans include a five-star hotel spanning multiple floors, modern condominiums, luxury executive residences, a shopping centre, conference and banquet facilities, fitness amenities and a rooftop swimming pool. A dedicated level will also feature restaurants, a shared kitchen, a children’s centre and 24-hour dining services, catering to both residents and visitors.
Beyond its architectural ambition, the Lao Center Project is expected to deliver substantial economic benefits. Upon full completion, it is projected to generate between 800 and 1,000 jobs for local residents, contributing to employment and urban development in the capital.
With condominium reservations now open, developers are offering attractive early-bird incentives for buyers who commit before the completion of the main tower. Interested parties can visit the sales centre located in front of Parkson Mall or explore the project directly at the 12-storey building.
As cranes continue to shape the skyline, the opening of the first phase signals more than just progress—it marks the beginning of a new era for Vientiane’s urban future.
