July marks the height of the rainy season in Laos. Along the banks of the Mekong River, seasonal rainfall brings new challenges while also nurturing the growth of Vientiane. Despite the weather, the Lao Center project team has continued to advance construction steadily and efficiently, with every milestone reflecting our commitment to quality and progress. We are pleased to share this July Construction Update, providing our partners, customers, and the wider community with the latest development as we continue building what will become one of Laos’ most iconic landmarks, rising approximately 155 meters above the Vientiane skyline.

the Lao Center project has reached another significant construction milestone
The main tower has been completed up to level 15
with construction of the supertall tower progressing steadily and on schedule
In addition to the steady progress of construction, several major milestones were achieved during July:
Phase II MOU Signed: Qiancheng Group officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Phase II of Lao Center, marking another important step in the project’s long-term master plan. Together, the Phase I and Phase II towers will shape a distinctive twin-tower landmark in the heart of Vientiane’s CBD.
Elegant Hotel Joins Lao Center: A cooperation agreement was officially signed with Elegant Hotel, which will occupy the five-star hotel component of Lao Center’s 155-meter landmark tower. This partnership represents another significant milestone in establishing Lao Center as a premium mixed-use destination.
Thai Real Estate Delegation Visits Lao Center: A delegation from Thailand’s real estate industry visited Lao Center for an on-site inspection and exchange, gaining first-hand insights into the project’s development and future development outlook. The visit further reflects the growing regional attention and recognition the project continues to receive.
From construction progress to strategic partnership and international engagement, Qiancheng Group continues to turn its vision into reality through steady execution and tangible results.
Beginning in August, construction of the main tower will continue to advance to higher levels. We will continue to provide regular updates through photographs and project reports, keeping our partners, customers, and the public informed of the latest construction progress.
