On April 29, H.E. Mr. Sommad Phonsena, Vice President of the Lao National Assembly, led a delegation to inspect the construction site of Qiancheng Group’s Lao Center project. A dedicated meeting on project development was subsequently held at the Group’s Talent Introduction Center, attended by Mr. Ding Ding, Chairman of Qiancheng Group, and Mr. Gong Wenzhong, Vice President.
During the meeting, after listening to the company’s report on its development and the progress of the Lao Center project, Mr. Sommad Phonsena expressed strong recognition of the achievements made. He emphasized that the Lao Center represents a successful example of investment attraction in Laos and serves as a key project driving Vientiane’s development and local economic growth. The Lao government has consistently prioritized the project’s advancement and has instructed relevant departments to closely monitor its progress while providing timely support to resolve challenges encountered during implementation. He encouraged the company to maintain confidence in its development strategy and further integrate into Laos’ economic framework and urbanization process.
Mr. Ding Ding expressed sincere gratitude for the consistent support and guidance from the Lao government and its leaders. He voiced hope that the government would continue to provide direction and assistance, proposing the establishment of closer communication and collaboration mechanisms to jointly contribute to Vientiane’s economic and social progress.
The meeting also featured in-depth exchanges on other matters of mutual interest, culminating in broad consensus. The event was attended by senior officials including H.E. Mr. Xaysongkham Manotham, Deputy Minister of Public Works and Transport; Mr. Ketkeo Sihalath, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Economic, Technology, and Environment Committee; Brig. Gen. Nouchone Konethongdam, Director-General of the General Logistics Department under the Ministry of Public Security; and Mr. Anupah Donalone, Chairman of the Vientiane National Assembly.
